Passing The
Usual Roadblocks

The main focus should be on keeping your design simple so that anyone, regardless of the type of browser they use, can access it in the way you originally envisioned it. Barriers include:

  1. Different browsers
  2. Varying user screen size and resolution
  3. Slow connections (modem speeds: 28.8; 56k; 9600, cable)
  4. Graphics that take too long to download
  5. Color limits use the 216 “web safe”
  6. Iinaccessible web pages for people who have their graphics features turned off
  7. People with visual impairment who can not see icons on which to click
  8. People using cell phones, palm pilots, text pagers and other non-graphic devises
